The Faisal Mosque is the national mosque of Pakistan, located at the foothills of the Margalla Hills in the capital city of Islamabad. Designed by the renowned Turkish architect Vedat Dalokay, this iconic structure is shaped like a desert Bedouin tent rather than a traditional domed mosque. It features a large triangular prayer hall and four towering 90-meter minarets. It was financed through a generous grant from King Faisal bin Abdul-Aziz of Saudi Arabia, after whom it is named
